CAA Level 1 Professional Avalanche Course

The Canadian Avalanche Association has set standards in avalanche work world-wide. Level Is are being taught in Iceland and Japan, and for six years we have taught them in northern British Columbia as well. No longer do northerners have to travel far and wide, but they can get their ticket right in their home mountains. And people from other ranges and continents never complain about having taken their introductory professional course with us. Sign-up is through the Canadian Avalanche Association, but teaching, cooking and skiing is done right here.

If you wish to make your living in the snowy mountains, here is your chance to get your foot in the door.  And did you know that getting to Smithers is just an hour and a half from Vancouver? Register at the CAA website.

Cost: $ per person (TBD)
